Marin pollution is a huge and increasingly growing problem worldwide. Growing up in Bergen, Norway I’ve always been surrounded by the ocean and costal nature of this region. Seeing firsthand the damaging impact of plastic pollution on nature and wildlife, I felt inspired to explore this topic in my own art practice.
Although marin pollution is very much a global problem, I’ve chosen to focus on the relationship between plastic pollution and wildlife native to Norway and the Arctic region in particular.
This is an ongoing series. More images of artwork to come.
